Altruism Examined
Righteousness In Action is an inter-
national symposium on altruism
at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11,
at the Zekelman Family Holocaust
Memorial Center, 28123 Orchard
Lake Road, Farmington Hills.
There will be several speakers:
• Sister Carol Rittner, professor of
Holocaust and genocide studies;
• Dean Lindy Bruton of Groves
High School;
• Dr. Klaus Berghahn, professor of
at the University of Wisconsin;
• Dr. Sue Krolikowski, an HMC
docent, join the others at the 1:15
p.m. panel.
The forum will orient faculty and
students from Berkley High School
(led by principal Dr. Derrick Lopez)
and Lawrence Technical University
in Southfield (under the guidance
of Professors Lisa Anneberg and
Melissa Weinstein) on an "action
plan for spreading altruism:'

tors from synagogues and churches
as well as civic group leaders have
