his bar mitzvah at
Beth Shalom
Saturday, Jan. 27.
Proud parents, Steven
and Ivy Abrams, and sister Chloe Faye
Abrams were joined by Elliott's grand-
parents Mitchell and Dorothy Abrams,
Linda Abrams and Jerry Garcher, Yuri
and Marina Jacobs, Becky Grossman
and Bob Beckley, Yuri and Lucy
Malkov and Queen Mindy Swartz.
Elliott is also the grandson of the late
Fred Grossman and the great-grand-
son of the late Morris and Sally Krut.
His mitzvah projects include work
for the Juvenile Diabetes Research

Hanna Sally
Bogrow (Hendel),
will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Friday, Feb. 2,
at Congregation
Shir Tikvah. She
is the daughter of
Julie Upp and Dr. Earl Bogrow, and the
older sister of Claire. Proud grandpar-
ents are Ann Bogrow, Sally Olin, and
Richard and Margee Upp; proud great-
grandmother is Dorothy Upp. Hanna
is also the granddaughter of the late
Harold Bogrow.
Hanna attends Norup International
School in Oak Park. Her main mitzvah
project consisted of performing violin
concerts at various senior citizen com-
plexes and at the Beaumont Hospital
Pediatric Unit, Royal Oak.

Saturday, Feb. 3.
Participating in the ceremony will
be parents, David and Lynne Baum,
and brothers Daniel and Bradley.
Proud grandparents are Pearl Baum of
West Bloomfield and Henry and Ann
Garfield of Southfield.
Seth is a student at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. His mitzvah projects include vol-
unteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Erica attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. She made
and sold bracelets to benefit the Royal
Oak-based Gilda's Club to help with
various programs there.
