Background: Graduated New York Medical College, 1969; internship at U-
M, 1969-70; clinical fellowship at the National Cancer Institute working on
brain tumor research, 1970-72; residency and professorship at U-C San
Francisco, 1972-92; founded the Joint Section on Tumors of the Congress
of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons, serving as chairman until 1991.
Resides: West Bloomfield
Family: Married to Pam, who runs the annual "Shoot For A Cure" fundrais-
er for neuroscience at Henry Ford. They have two children: Amy Schultz,
32, works in corporate human resources at HFHS; Scott Rosenblum, 29,
lives in Birmingham and works in equity research for Bluestein and Co.,
Birmingham.; one grandchild.
Outside Interests: Plays golf, tennis and belongs to Franklin Hills Country
Club ("most importantly, I just had my first grandchild"); belongs to Temple
Beth El, Bloomfield Township, where Pam is a former board member.
