Young Leaders Gather

Leaders from B'nai B'rith Youth Organization gathered in Washington,
D.C., in December at the High School Israel Summit and presented more
than 10,000 petition signatures to White House Jewish Community
Liaison Jay Zeidman. The petition campaign, coordinated with American
Israel Public Affairs Committee, urged President Bush and Congress to
prevent the development of nuclear weapons in Iran. Pictured from West
Bloomfield is Geoffrey Horowitz of Shapiro AZA. Also in attendance were
Allison Shipper of Achayot BBG and Rachel Belsky of Disraeli BBG, both
of West Bloomfield.

Natalie and Manny Charach of Bloomfield Hills are shown with a graphic
art piece created by their son, Jeffrey Charach, which they donated to the
Sinai Center for Women at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, Commerce. The
red graphic design symbolizes the power of women and their connecting
circles of love and influence.

Locks of Love

Mike Zack, a Southfield-based Kadima client, came up with a way to
give back to society: His two-year growth of hair was cut and donated to
Locks of Love, an organization that provides wigs for children who have
lost their hair to illness. The donation of Zack's haircut was offered by
Kopy Katz Salon.
