Granholm to the governor's task force

Dr. and Mrs. William H.
Kaufman, formerly of West
Bloomfield of Delray Beach, Fla.,
have made a $1 million gift to the
University of Illinois at Chicago
College of Medicine. The gift —
$100,000 a year for the next 10 years
— will be used to support academic
scholarships for students who have
financial need and academic ability.
Dr. Kaufman retired from his surgery
practice in Allen Park eight years ago.
