"Every day I think about last summer. I think about the
places I saw and the Israelis met and how inspiring
they were. And most of all I think about the feelings
I had... when I realized I was in the most beautiful
place on earth. My experience has given me the
drive to make a difference in the world."

Scholar-in-Residence: Brigitte Gabriel
Join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat Service
and dynamic guest speaker, Brigitte Gabriel.
Ms. Gabriel is one of the Middle East experts featured in the
documentary "Obsession" and in Glenn Beck's CNN special:
"Radical Islam Exposed." She lectures nationally
and internationally on terrorism and world affairs.
Her just-released book, Because They Hate: A Survivor of
Islamic Terror Warns America, is a compelling memoir of her
family's harrowing experiences as Christians during the
Lebanese Civil War. She credits Israeli doctors with saving her
mother during the war, a turning point in her life that left her
with a profound admiration for the State of Israel.
Ms. Gabriel is the founder of American Congress for Truth,
an organization dedicated to educating Americans about
the threat of radical Islam.
Dessert reception to follow. Please register at 248/357-5544.
To pre-order signed copies of Ms. Gabriel's book,
please call the synagogue office.
