With her personal polls showing
that women make up 39 percent of
her fan base, Margolis says she wants
to help the "9 million females a year
in this country who go through
infertility problems." She underwent
seven infertility procedures, costing
$15,000-$20,000 per procedure. •
Margolis successfully had a son,
Nicholas Isaac, age 4, through in-
vitro fertilization; twin daughters
Sabrina and Sierra were born last
year with the aid of a surrogate
mother.
Margolis has been married
for eight years to Guy Starkman,
president of Jerry's Famous Delis,
with 10 restaurants in California
and Florida. He is the son of Isaac
Starkman, the chain's founder and
a former lieutenant in the Israel
Defense Forces.
Always the savvy businesswoman,
Cynthia D. Margolis parlayed her
early success into an ongoing career
through modeling, television appear-
ances and a No. 1-rated celebrity
Web site — plus a well-oiled public-
ity machine.

She began modeling while attend-
ing California State Northridge
College and selling greeting cards
with photos of herself on the front.
"That led to posters, then a gig on
The Price Is Right TV program," she
recalled. "That exposure got me
started on TV and being download-
ed on the Internet."
Never one to rest on her laurels,
Margolis has written a soon-to-be
published book on her experiences
with infertility, Download This ...
Having a Baby When the Old-
Fashioned Way Doesn't Work
(Penguin Publishing).
She's working on an animated
late-night TV series, to be called
Cindy B.C., and is designing a line
of women's T-shirts and tank tops.
She's also a heroine in the new Tenth
Muse comic-book series.
A highly sought-after poker player,
she has appeared on the World Series
of Poker and recently graced the
cover of a much less controversial
publication: Women Poker Player
Magazine.

"believes in the Jewish faith."
Before the clarification, l spoke
with (the Jewish) Kenny Kramer,
who is the
acknowledged
real-life model
for Seinfeld
character
Cosmo Kramer
(played by
Richards).
Kenny, a funny
Kenny Kramer
and sharp guy,
gives guided
tours of Seinfeld spots in New
York (go to www.kennykramer.
corn).
Kenny Kramer, who knows
Richards and knows he isn't
Jewish, was appalled that
Rubenstein would get this fact
wrong. He added that it was too
early to tell if Richards' conduct
would affect Kramer's own busi-
ness.
"The original Kramer" doesn't
believe Richards is a hater. Rather,
it's his opinion that Richards is
an incompetent stand-up comic
who tried to be over-the-top out-
rageous and couldn't pull it off.

Mel Gil3son's
new movie,
Apocalypto,
opens Dec. 8
as well, and
since I want
it to flop, it
Denis Leary
probably won't.
The good news
is that you can see comedian
Denis Leary sing "The Mel Gibson
Blues" online at:
www.tmz.com/2006/11/10/
leary-sings-mel-gibson-blues/.
Leary, who trashed Gibson's
anti-Semitism from the Red Sox
broadcast booth last summer, pre-
tends to be Gibson in his scathing
song.
One line: "I like to drink, I like
to drive, I like to think that all the
Jews got out of the Holocaust
alive."

Meanwhile, Kenny Kramer has
been the subject of a barrage of
"hate-filled" e-mails by stupid
people who think he is Michael
