SAMUEL
GOODMAN,
81, of Huntington
Woods, died Nov.
26, 2006. He was
a research and
development
engineer
for the
Goodman
U.S. government
who had a long
and distinguished
career and received many honors.
He also served in World War II as
a gun sight mechanic in the Army
Air Corps and was a corporal sta-
tioned in the China Berma India
Theater. He was in many profes-
sional organizations.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his
wife, Susan Goodman; sons, Steve
Goodman, Scott Goodman and
partner, Bunny Lockhart; sisters-
in-law and brother-in-law, Sylvia
Goodman, Carol Randel, Sanford
Pearlman; many loving nieces and
nephews. He was the dear brother-
in-law of the late Norman Randel
and the late Janet Pearlman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to the Scleroderma
Foundation, Michigan Chapter,
24404 Catherine Industrial
Drive, Suite 300, Novi, MI 48375.

She is survived by her son and

Edie Hoffman of West Bloomfield;

Bloomfield; grandchildren, Eric
Hoffman, Kim (Dr. Steven Miller)
Hoffman, Dr. Elizabeth (Michael
Kenwood) Hoffman, Amy (Dr.
Michael) Margolis and Dr. Brent
Hoffman; great-grandchildren,
Sadie Miller and Alli Jaye Margolis.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Maurice Hoffman.
