She is the daugh- ter of Mara and Alan Starr and the older sister of Sarah and Dayna. Ariel is the granddaughter of Adele W. Staller of Southfield and Rita Starr of Farmington Hills. Her very proud great-grandmother is Martha Burnstein of Southfield. Ariel is also the granddaughter of the late Avery Gerald Staller and the late Joseph Samuel Starr. Ariel is a student at the Norup International School in Oak Park. Her most meaningful mitzvah project involved collecting supplies and financial contributions as well as spending time volunteering for Almost Home, a nonprofit organi- zation dedicated to finding loving homes for homeless animals.
