The London Philharmonic makes their first Ann Arbor
appearance in 30 years. The Bolshoi's Alexander
Vedernikov replaces Kurt Masur as conductor, and
is joined by Sarah Chang for the beloved Sibelius
Violin Concerto. Vedernikov and the LPO open
the program with Franz Liszt's rarely-performed
but exuberant Les Preludes, and close it with
Brahms's second symphony.
