Elana Leah Rosen will be called
to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah dur-
ing a Havdalah service on Saturday,
Nov.18, at Temple Shir Shalom.
She is the daughter of Dr. Phyllis
Indianer and Alan and Heather.
Rosen, and the sister of Seth. Elana
is delighted to have her grandpar-
ents, Rita Rosen and Helen and
Simon Indianer join in this special
event. Elana is also the sister of the
late Samantha Erin Rosen and the
granddaughter of the late Melvin
Rosen.
Elana, a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Beverly Hills,
actively participates in the
Madrichim program at Temple Shir
Shalom.

Phillip Layne.
Attending West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, Katie
felt volunteering at the food bank
of Yad Ezra in Berkley was a very
meaningful mitzvah project.
