could easily play Italians.
I asked Levy, "Given a lengthy list
of Jewish characters you've written
and played, isn't it possible that your
Jewish background is more important
than you give it credit for?
Levy pauses briefly to consider the
notion. "I would not rule that out:' he

Consideration. The film's title is the
name of the ads the studios place
in Hollywood trade journals during
awards season to promote the Oscar
possibilities of films, actors and
directors.
For Your Consideration, the
movie, concerns what happens to
actors, writers and producers when
a small, independent film starts gen-
erating Oscar buzz. In this case, the
film is Home For Purim, and one
of the things that happens is that the
executives that run the studio want to
broaden the film's appeal.
