"Into Africa: a Jewish American Doctor
among the Refugees of Ethiopia"

DR. RICK HODES TO APPEAR AT...

SYNERGY IS A HAPPENING. SYNERGY IS CHOICES. SYNERGY IS SPIRITUALITY.

SYNERGY IS SHABBAT AT A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. SYNERGY WORKS!

DR. HODES is an internist and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee's med-
ical consultant and advisor in Ethiopia. Over the past decade, his humanitarian work has led
him to serve as Medical Director to JDC's nonsectarian projects for Rwandan and Kosovar
refugees. He lent his medical expertise to the Swedish Red Cross in Eritrea, the U.S. Peace
Corps in Ethiopia, refugee camps in Tanzania, and a host of other medical and humanitari-
an organizations. Dr. Hodes will speak on both Friday evening and Shabbat afternoon.
