Generosity Acknowledged
A fully equipped basic life support ambulance was donated
to. the people of Israel by Ann and Leonard P. Baruch in
memory of their beloved parents, Morris and Dora Baruch
and Abraham and Hilda Kaufman. The dedication took place
at the recent annual dinner at which the Baruches were the
honorees and recipients of the Distinguished Humanitarian
Service Award. Shown are Ann Baruch, Leonard Baruch,
Daniel Allen, executive vice president of American Friends of
Magen David Adom.
Changes At NCCJ-MI
The National Conference for
Community and Justice of
Michigan is no longer associated
with the national NCCJ and has
changed its name to the Michigan
Roundtable for Diversity and
Inclusion.
In addition, the local nonprofit
human relations organization
has partnered with the National
Federation of Just Communities, a
recently formed federation of simi-
lar organizations.
Rev. Dan Krichbaum is presi-
dent and CEO of the Michigan
Roundtable, which says its new
affiliation and name will increase
awareness and strengthen its
impact on the community.
On Nov.28, the Michigan
Roundtable will host its annual
Humanitarian Tribute with
the theme of "Breaking Down
Barriers ... Creating Opportunity"
Comerica chairman and CEO
Ralph W. Babb and Tom Wilson,
president and CEO of Palace
Sports and Entertainment, will be
honored along with Steve Smith,
color analyst for FOX and Turner
sports and former Michigan State

Teen Connection members and
friends will head to the Barnum
& Bailey Circus at the Palace of
Auburn Hills on Sunday, Nov. 12.
