IRENE (ROSE) BARDOS, 97,
of Buffalo Grove, Ill., formerly of
Southfield, died Oct. 28, 2006.
She is survived by her loving son
and daughter-in-law, Dick and Ruthe
Bardos; adoring grandchildren, Lori
and Jerry Wolff, David and Lori Bardos,
Sally and Ed Nowak; great-grandchil-
dren, Joey, Sean, Paula, Jamie, Danny,
Mark and Ryan; cherished sisters, Ruth
Gross, Pearl Goutman, Evelyn Feldman;
many nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews. She was the beloved
wife of the late Lewis Bardos; cherished
sister of the late Milton, the late Lou, the
late Eugene, the late Edith Rose and the
late Helen Klein.

St., Evanston, IL 60201. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements

JOSEPH BARENHOLTZ, 86, of
West Bloomfield, died Oct. 26, 2006.
An executive in the Scrap Metal busi-
ness, he had owned United Metals and
Commodity Metals.
Mr. Barenholtz is survived by
his wife, Shirley Barenholtz of West
Bloomfield; daughters, Andrea
Barenholtz of Huntington Woods,
Susan Barenholtz of Phoenix; son,
David Barenholtz of Los Angeles;
sister, Arda Barenholtz of Huntington
Woods; brothers-in-law an
and sisters-
in-law, Clara Barenholtz, Marvin and
Innis Dubrinsky, Seymour and Carol
Dubrinsky.
He was the beloved brother of the late
Dr. Ben Barenholtz, the late Evelyn Cobb
and the late Ann Zolin; dear brother-in-
law of the late Seymour Barenholtz, the
late Jane Barenholtz, the late Dave Cobb
and the late Gene Zolin.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

JACK FAXON, 94, of Southfield, died
Oct. 28, 2006.
He is survived by his daughter and

Faxon; grandchildren, Joshua (Robin)

He was the beloved husband of the late
Ellyn Faxon; father of the late James
Faxon.

and nephews. She was the beloved wife
of the late Charles Jaslove; loving sister
