ly married at Temple Shir Shalom,
West Bloomfield. Rabbi Dannel
Schwartz officiated.
Jennifer Copeland, daughter of the
bride, was the maid of honor. Christopher
Copeland, son of the bride, escorted the
bride down the aisle.
The best man was David Levy, brother of
the groom. Michael and Daniel Levy, sons of
the groom, were the ushers.
Laura is a registered nurse; Robert is a
self-employed physician.
Following their honeymoon in New York,
the couple reside in West Bloomfield

avid and Susan (Pernick)
Brody of Southfield recently
celebrated their 50th anni-
versary. They were married June 3, 1956,
by Rabbi Morris Adler at Ahavas Achim
synagogue in Detroit. Their children
and grandchildren are Cindi Brody,
Alice Brody and Ron Ross, Diane Brody,
James and Adam Ross and Charlie and
Meredith Starkman. The festivities
included a family dinner and a concert
by Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger
Sessions Band.
