Gutman of Farmington Hills and Margo
Lowe of Los Osos, Calif.
Sarah is a graduate of Michigan State
University with a bachelor's degree in mar-
keting and Eric is a graduate of Western
Michigan University with a bachelor of fine
arts degree in musical theater performance.
This fall, Eric and Sarah will tour the
country with the first national tour of Jersey
Boys, where Eric was cast in the featured ensemble. An April wedding in the
Dominican Republic is planned.

engagement of their children Julie and
Michael.
Julie is a graduate of the University
of Michigan and is a public relations
account manager at Communications
Meca in Montreal. Michael gradu-
ated from Concordia University and
teaches at Riverdale High School in
Montreal.
The couple met as camp counselors
at Camp Tamarack in Ortonville. A wedding is planned at Temple Israel, West
Bloomfield.

the union of their son Bernard
Cherkasov with Daniel Maurice Cohen, son
of Elaine and Nissim Cohen of London,
United Kingdom.
Mr. Cherkasov earned a master's of theo-
logical studies from Harvard University
and a juris doctor from the University of
Michigan. He practices commercial litiga-
tion.
Mr. Cohen graduated as valedictorian
from Manchester Metropolitan University
in England and went on to develop youth
leadership and human rights programs for at-risk immigrant youth in London.
He is studying for his doctorate in learning sciences at Northwestern University
in Evanston, Ill., specializing in Holocaust education design.
The couple live in Chicago. They chose Temple Sholom in Chicago for their
union ceremony this month.
