B'nai Mitzvah from page 81

Hannah Rose Bez, daughter of
Maureen and Dr. Douglas Bez and
sister of David and Brooke, celebrated
her bat mitzvah Saturday, Oct. 7, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
in East Lansing.
Her proud grand-
parents are Carol
and Dr. Bert Bez,
Cindy Doyle and
Richard Doyle.
Hannah is a
Bez
seventh-grade
student at Kenawa
Middle School. Her mitzvah project
was taking children who are blind and
mentally challenged horseback riding
at Beekman Center in Lansing.

Moshe. He is the son of Shari and
Chuck Bross and brother of Jordan.

Megan attends West Hills Middle

and felt this was a very meaningful
mitzvah project.

Natalie Laine Haron will be called
to the Torah on Saturday, Oct. 28, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Sharing this special day
will be her proud

Mark Haron, her
brother Seth,
sister Elana
and her grand-
mother Gloria
Hamburger.
Natalie
is also the
Heron
granddaughter of
the late Roslyn and Daniel Haron and
the late David Howard.
Natalie is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Her
most meaningful mitzvah project has
been working at the West Bloomfield-
based Friendship Circle.

Nicole Taylor Katzman, daughter
of Elizabeth and Steven Katzman and
Becky and Josh McCarty, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah as she is called to read
from the Torah at Temple Israel,
Friday, Oct. 27.
She is the sister
of Kendra, Randi
and Lucy. Her
proud grandpar-
ents are Lois and
Paul Katzman
and Yovanka
DeSloover. She is
Katzman
also the grand-
child of the late William DeSloover
and the great-grandchild of the late Ida
and the late Hyman Katzman, the late
Ruth and the late Manuel Feldstein.
Nicole attends Walled Lake Middle
School. She felt it was very meaningful
to help build a sukkah at a JARC resi-
dence as one of her mitzvah projects.

Zack Kozlow of Franklin will become
bar mitzvah at Temple Kol Ami on
Saturday, Oct.
28. He is the son
of Michelle and
Daniel Kozlow.
They will be par-
ticipating in the
ceremony along
with Zack's sister
Jamie and brother
Kozlow
Griffin. Zack is
delighted to share this special day with
his grandparents Carol and Robert
