Crystal Rose Ball
Hospice of Michigan, the state's larg-
est hospice organization, held its 21st
annual Crystal Rose Ball at the Detroit
Opera House in September. Attendees
included, above, Nancy Gershenson
with her parents, Jim and Barbara
Fresard; and, left, Lori and Maurice
Pagoda of Pagoda Management
Company in Farmington Hills.
Dow Automotive, based in Auburn
Hills, has been the presenting spon-
sor for the Crystal Rose Ball for
seven years. The ball is Hospice of
Michigan's signature fundraising
event and its proceeds help sustain
the organization's mission to care for
all terminally ill people who seek its
help, regardless of their ability to pay.
