Andrew Michael Goldman, son

and Dr. Kenneth Goldman, will read
from the Torah on the occasion of his
bar mitzvah Friday,
Oct. 13, at Temple
Israel. He is the
brother of Melanie.
His grandparents
are Rita White and
Helene and Stephen
Fischgrund. He is also
the grandson of the
late Sharron and the
late Franklin Aden,
the late Donald Goldman and the late
Dr. Milton White.
Andrew is a student at Bloomfield
Hills Middle School. He felt it was
especially meaningful to donate a por-
tion of the monetary gifts to the Dr.
Vaitkevicius Discretionary Fund for the
fight against breast cancer.

Max Mendel Himelhoch was called
to the to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Temple Kol
Ami. He is the son of David and Debra
Himelhoch and a
wonderful big brother
to Jenna. He is the
grandson of Sue
Himelhoch, the late
Mason Himelhoch
and the late Max and
Jeanette Calfin.
Max attends
Himelhoch
Cranbrook's Boy's
Middle School. He participated in a
variety of mitzvah projects, including
delivering food for Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Anna Elizabeth Spigelman will
celebrate her bat mitzvah at Temple
Israel Friday, Oct. 13. She is the daugh-
ter of Linda and
Alan Spigelman and
the sister of Sarah
and Joshua. Her
proud grandpar-
ents are Janice and
Harold Katzman,
Cynthia and Philip
Rosenblatt, Joan and
Spigelman
Iry Spigelman.
Anna attends West
Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
was involvement in housing the home-
less at Temple Israel.
