Inspirational Windows

A

dat Shalom Synagogue
commissioned California
artists Michelle and David
Plachte Zuieback to create stained
glass windows for the Joseph D.
Shiffman Chapel. The colorful win-
dows, made of more than 2,000 piec-
es of colored glass, were installed
recently, replacing a band of clear
glass that spanned the upper wall
directly behind the ark.
The new windows are filled with
symbolism. A full description of the
windows, written by Rabbi Daniel
Nevins, is available at the Farmington
Hills synagogue.
To view a pictorial presentation on
the creation of the windows by the
artists, go to www.plachtezuieback.

Adat Shalom Synagogue President Paul Magy checks out the new stained glass windows

with artist David Plachte Zuieback, who designed the windows with his wife, Michelle.
