Rosenn

Rabbis are not necessarily known for their culinary expertise, but that didn't stop Rabbi David Rosenn's
organization, AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps, from being part of the important work of a number
of soup kitchens, job training programs and hunger advocacy organizations. As Executive Director of
AVODAH, Rabbi Rosenn helps young Jews deepen their commitment to Jewish life and social
change through a year of Jewish study and service to organizations dedicated to urban
poverty issues, including housing, healthcare and education.

For his lifetime achievements
and a farewell for

years of dedication

For nearly GO years, one
of the giants of Torah worked
tirelessly in our midst to provide
our community with kosher food
on the highest level possible.

During those decades,
we received his rulings in every

Now is the time we

by honoring the Torah and the
organization he nurtured — the
