he fourth annual Walk
of Ages drew about 200
participants, who raised
more than $50,000 during the Sept.
10. event sponsored by the JHAS
Auxiliary, ElderLink Network of
SerVices and the Jewish News.
Young and old walked individu-
ally or in teams along the desig-
nated route that started from the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield.
Police Chief Ronald D. Cronin
and Fire Chief James Poppelreiter
of West Bloomfield were honorary
chairpersons. Evelyn Orbach of
West Bloomfield, artistic director
of the Jewish Ensemble Theatre,
served as grand marshal.
Proceeds from the walk will help
support elderly residents of the
Fleischman Residence and Danto
Family Health Center in West
Bloomfield and the Menorah House
in Southfield.
Joanne Robinson of West
