Tisdale at the Franklin Cider Mill for a festive, fall
afternoon! Sample tasty treats, enjoy good compa-
ny and participate in fun activities while celebrating

1. Busy Babies Play Group. Children from birth
to age 2 1/2 are invited to enjoy music, gym and
Shabbat snacks at Temple Israel. The group meets
from 11 AM - noon on Fridays: September 29, Oc-
tober 27 and December 1, 2006.

Zap! Pow! Barn!

Exhibit & Reception

Saturday, November 4 • 8 PM

West Bloomfield JCC

Join other young adults for an evening of wine, food
and friendship with the IrrincinE Arts and Culture
Group! We'll begin the evening hearing Arie Ka-
plan, writer for MAD Magazine, Total Request Live
on MTV and JibJab Media. After his presentation,
we'll enjoy dessert and wine and tour the exhibit
"Zap! Pow! Barn! The Superhero: The Golden Age
of Comic Books: 1938-1950." The exhibit focuses
on the comic books from this era, as well as their
Jewish creators. Cost is just $18 per person. Enjoy
this great night out with your friends!

2. "Tot"ally Shabbat Play Group. Children under
age 5 are invited to celebrate Shabbat with their
parents and a Temple Israel Early Childhood Cen-
ter educator. This new group meets from 10:30 -
11:30 AM at Temple Israel at Saturdays: October

21 and November 18, 2006.

3. Mitzvah Play Group. Children of alb ages are
encouraged to enjoy a fun-filled mitzvah opportu-
nity as we interact with and are observed by Fleis-
chman Residents. Toys are provided. The group
meets at Fleischman Residence from 11 AM - noon
on the following Mondays: October 16 and Novem-
ber 20.
