High Holiday Services
The Birmingham-Bloomfield Chai
Center is offering High Holiday ser-
vices with open seating and family-
style meals.
Services start at 9 a.m. on Rosh
Hashanah, Sept. 23 and 24, and
10 a.m. on Yom Kippur, Oct. 2.
Services are held in the Birmingham
Masonic Lodge, 37357 Woodward, in
Bloomfield Hills.
Holiday meals will be served the
two nights of Rosh Hashanah and
to break to the Yom Kippur fast.
Reservations are required for the
meals.
Shofar blowing services can also be
arranged for anyone in the area who
cannot make it to synagogue.

Bob Builds A Sukkah

throughout the country. Movement
synagogues who have not yet signed
up to offer tickets are also encouraged
to visit the Web site for more informa-
tion.
The Conservative Jewish move-
ment in Israel, Masorti, is also part
of the initiative. "Come Home for the
Holidays" matches alumni with Israeli
families for home hospitality on holi-
days or Shabbat.
