He was a partner in the law firm Kohl, Harris, Nolan and McCarthy. As a lover of nature, he was an avid fisherman, golfer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Francine; sons and daughter-in- law, Douglas and Harris Sarah Gorenstein, Atlanta, died Sept. 2, 2006. Born in New York City and raised in Trenton, N.J., he had a long career in the laun- dry and dry cleaning industry, finally retiring in 2005. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Army Air Corps.
