to reflect the new focus in their lives
brought abOut by having children.
"I think children need music they
can call their very own," says Mathews.
"And I'd like to think we are creat-
ing exactly that. They need fun, hip,
contemporary music that's age-appro-
priate and relevant to their lives. If
parents enjoy the music, too — well,
that's a beautiful thing." Milkshake's
third CD, Play!, is set for a November
release.

in a production starring residents of
Farmington and Farmington Hills and
employees of the Farmington School
District 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept.
7; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9;
and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, in Hunt
Auditorium of North Farmington
High School, 32900 W. 13 Mile Road,
in Farmington Hills. Cast members
include Jim Moll as Tevye, Stacy
Wallach as Golde, Dan Zimberg as
Motel, Samantha Feldman as Hodel,
Joan Ginsberg as Fruma-Sarah and
Jamie Olen as the Fiddler. $12/$10 stu-

Stagecrafters mounts a produc-
tion of the 1957 classic West Side
Story, created by the Jewish quartet of
Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim,
Arthur Laurents and Jerome Robbins,
