had been a roommate of Jeff's in
Oak Park and who produced some
of Jeff's songs, are compiling a CD
titled, the "Jeff Grey Greatest Hits
Tribute Album."
"So many people asked us to get
copies of his music, we decided to
put together this CD': she said.
Jeff's other roommate, Mike
Rott (aka DJ Mike Dynasty) of
Oak Park, and friend Josh Band of
Huntington Woods are designing a
CD insert and the cover.
Jeff was set to begin classes
toward a master's degree in public
administration this fall at New York
University.
"And he didn't do anything half
way," McCaffrey said. "Everything
he did, he was completely passion-
ate about.
"Managing his career was totally
an afterthought, built upon a really
significant foundation of camara-
derie. Jeff Grey is quite literally one
of my personal heroes. It's more
important to me than I could ever
express that his influence is being
felt very broadly in the wake of this
tragedy"
