Southfield, died Sept. 2, 2006. He
was a housewares salesman.
Mr. Silverman is survived by his
daughters and son-in-law, Cynthia
and Randall Wokas of Maryland,
Nancy Silverman of Royal Oak;
grandchildren, John and Benjamin
Wokas; brother-in-law and sister-
in-law, Isadore and Edith Averbuch;
nieces, nephews and friend, Mary
Bieman. He was the beloved hus-
band of the late Esther Silverman;
dear brother of the late Frank
Silverman and the late Hyman
Silverman.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.

Southfield, died Aug. 31, 2006.
He was a barber and men's styl-
ist in the Detroit area for over 50
years. He was also a colonel in
the Polish Division of the Russian
Army during World War II and was
injured.
Mr. Yager is survived by his
wife, Rachela Yager; son, Barry S.
Yager of Ferndale; daughter and
son-in-law, Toby Yager Dominic
and John Dominic of Farmington
Hills; grandchildren, Nathan and
Nancy Kolender; many nieces and
nephews. He was a beloved son and
brother; his parents and six sib-
lings all perished in the Holocaust.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may
be made to Hospice of Michigan
or the Holocaust Memorial Center.
