brother and sister-in-law, Norman
and Audrey Lacoff; brother-in-law and
sister-in-law, Marvin and Betty Danto.
He was the beloved father of the late
Karen Lacoff; devoted brother of the
late Betty Plavnick and the late Edith
Chapin; cherished brother-in-law of
the late Bernie Plavnick and the late
Jack Chapin.
Private interment. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

BERTHA "BERT" NELSON, 88, of
West Bloomfield, died Aug. 18, 2006.
A bookkeeper for a variety of busi-
nesses, includ-
ing Nelson
Chemical
Company,
American
Jetway, Ray
Jacobson Co.,
she was also a
bookkeeper for
the Secretary
Nelson
of State. Mrs.
Nelson retired at
the age of 82. She was a life member of
Jewish Women's International, Jewish
War Veterans Silverman Post Auxiliary
and the National Council of Jewish
Women.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by her
son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Samuel
Nelson and Chris Moss of Rochester,
N.Y; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon
and Dr. Harry Lubetsky of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Caryn,
Laura and Andrew Lubetsky; sister
and brother-in-law, Jane and Ben
Goldman of Hampton, Va. She was the
beloved wife of the late Leo J. Nelson.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.

EUGENE PERLSTEIN, 90, of
Southfield, died Aug. 16, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Mirle
Perlstein; sons and daughters-in-law,
Allen Perlstein of California, Warren
and Erin Perlstein of Chicago, Jeffrey
and Ruth Perlstein of Oak Park; sisters
and brother-in-law, Esther and Iry
Steinman of Southfield, Shirley Rubin
of Farmington Hills; 10 grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren.

Beach, Ha., died Aug. 16, 2006.
He is survived by his beloved wife,

Mich., Robert and Caren Sattler of
Richboro, Pa., James Sattler of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Alexis,

Kelsey. He was the dear brother of the
late Carl Sattler.
