ISABEL KAUFMAN, 95, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 13, 2006. She
was very active in the Temple Israel
Sisterhood.
Mrs.
Kaufman is
survived by
her son and
daughter-
in-law, Jerry
and Karen
Kaufman
of West
Bloomfield;
Kaufman
daughters,
Nancy
Gerendasy of Oak Park, Barbara
Watnick of Farmington Hills; sister
and brother-in-law, Margie and
George Holbrook of Flint; grand-
children, Lisa Kaufman, Brian
(Sabrina) Kaufman, Bari Watnick
and Stephanie Watnick; great-grand-
children, Emma Brooke and Jaclyn
Alexa; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Benjamin; sister of the late Lillian
Kaplan, the late Shirley Barnett, the
late Irving Leff and the late Morley
Leff.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Jewish Home and Aging
Services or to the Israeli Emergency
Relief Fund c/o Federation.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

CECELE A. LEFTON, 99, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 14, 2006. An
artist and
painter, Mrs.
Lefton was
also known
as a major
sculptor. She
participated
in art shows
at the Detroit
Institute of
Lefton
Arts and was
also active at
the Center for Creative Studies.
She is survived by daughters
and sons-in-law, Elaine Goldman
and Craig Smith of Southfield, Joan
and Robert Pasman of Southfield,
