Arena with the American Idols Live! Tour.
Toby Lightman, whose original songs have

filled two CDs, appears on the Meadow
Brook Music Festival stage to open for
Train. Eric Stein, a founding member of

Jewish Idol
Elliott Yamin says he likes to wear a mezu-
zah and Jewish star around his neck to
show the pride he has in his faith, so that
should be part of his look when he takes

the stage Wednesday, Aug. 16, in Detroit.
"I chose to sing 'Never Too Much' by
Luther Vandross because it would be dif-
ferent',' says Yamin, 28, booked for some 60
cities. "I'll also be performing songs done
by Elvis and Guns N' Roses.
"This is- my first tour, and I love every-
thing about it. The people traveling in this
group have become really close, gnd it's
great to see the country and meet fans on
a personal lever
