Teen Intervention Walk
The first annual 5K Intervention
Walk will be held at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 5, at Kensington
Metropark at the west boat launch
area near Brighton. Proceeds from
the walk directly benefit at-risk
teens in our area and indirectly
benefit thousands of teens and
their families across the country
through programs provided by
Teen Intervention.
Funds help keep teens in a resi-
dential center through graduation
and also help provide educational
materials to local schools, syna-
gogues and other groups.
