DR. JULIUS SHERR, 95, former
Detroiter of Los Angeles, where he
was a practicing physician for 50
years.
Dr. Sherr is survived by his wife,
Shirley Sherr; son and daughter-
in-law, Dr. Joel and Laurie Sherr;
daughters and son-in-law, Susan
and Michael Dasaro, Debbie Ostrow;
grandchildren, Jennifer and Adam
Tschop, Damion Dasaro, Scott and
Shana Ostrow, Jeremy Sherr, Steven
Ostrow, Nicholas Dasaro; great-
grandchild, Adrian; brother and
sister-in-law, I. William and Harriet
Sherr. He was the devoted brother of
the late Lillian Chernick and the late
Doris Boscan; dear brother-in-law
of the late Harry Chernick and the
late Arthur Boschan.
Interment in Los

BERTHA SHOOK, 90, of Oak
Park, died July 29, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Joanne and Joseph
Kleiman of Louisiana, Jan Shook
and Jody Stein of Oak Park; son and
daughter-in-law, Glenn and Ellen
Shook of Northville; grandchildren,
Benjamin and Zeyner Kleiman,
David Kleiman, Lindsay Shook,
Ian Shook; great-grandchild, Azra
Kleiman. She was the beloved wife
of the late Samuel Shook.

NANCY JEAN WAGNER, 65,
of Huntington Woods, died July
28, 2006. She was a member of the
JCC's Thursday night social group,
participated in the Jewish Hall of
Fame Games and a member of the
bowling league.
Ms. Wagner is survived by her
brothers and sister-in-law, Donald
and Dottie Wagner, James "Spike"
Wagner of Ohio, significant other,
Sam Desow; her loving JARC
family; nieces and nephew, Sheri
Wagner, Amy Wagner Biloon and
Jeremy Biloon.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

ROSE WALDMAN, of Southfield,
formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., and
Delray Beach, Fla., died July 26,
2006. For 20
years, she was
employed with
a military
medical supply
agency for the
United States
Department of
Defense. She
also worked
Waldman
for her parents
in their deli-
catessen. She was a strong advocate
of women's rights and the liberation
movement before it was politically
correct.
Mrs. Waldman is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law,
Arthur and Phyllis Waldman of
Connecticut; daughter and son-in-
law, Sheila and Daniel Schiffer of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren,
Brian and Allison Waldman, Jeffry
and Barbara Waldman, Stuart
and Tracie Waldman, Michael and
Linda Schiffer, Eric and Deborah
Schiffer; 10 great-grandchildren;
sister, Ruth Sivin of Florida. She was
the beloved wife of the late Sydney
Waldman.
