teve Brown of Birmingham and
Connie and Barry Silverman of Royal
Oak are delighted to announce the
engagement of their daughter Marci Brown to
Eric Pierce, son of Sharyn and Fredric Pierce
of Farmington Hills.
Marci earned her bachelor of arts degree
in communication from Michigan State
University and continued her education at
Oakland University, earning her teaching
certificate in elementary education. She is a
middle school science teacher in the Huron
Valley School District.
Eric earned his bachelor of science degree
in marketing, history and secondary education from Central Michigan University.
He received a master's degree from Marygrove College in the art of teaching. He is
teaching in the West Bloomfield School District.
Marci is the granddaughter of Maxine and Sidney Kort of Boynton Beach,
Fla., and Elaine Kohner of Farmington Hills. Eric is the grandson of Emily
Pierce of Novelty, Ohio.
An August wedding is planned.

mer Detroiters of Toledo, Ohio, and
Carol and Dr. Richard T. Streem of
Beachwood, Ohio, announce the engagement
of their children Dr. Mindy Jill Greenblatt
and Dr. Jason Michael Streem.
Mindy earned a bachelor of science and a
bachelor of musical arts from the University
of Michigan. She received' a doctor of dental
medicine from Harvard School of Dental
Medicine and is doing an orthodontic resi-
dency at the University of Michigan.
Jason earned a bachelor of arts from
Columbia University in New York City. He received a doctor of dental surgery
from the University of Michigan, then completed a general dentistry residency.
An October 2007 wedding is planned.
