ready for Hawaiian night at Temple Emanu-El.

Going Hawaiian
Temple Emanu-El's Membership
Committee will host a Hawaiian Shirt
Shabbat on Friday, July 14, at 6 p.m. in
the temple's garden.
There will be a Shabbat picnic din-
ner and a craft activity for the chil-
dren. The cost will be $13 for adults
and $7 for children. After dinner, there
will be evening services with contem-
porary music led by Steven Klaper and
Judy Lewis.
Wear a Hawaiian shirt; leis will be
provided. This is open to the commu-
nity. Reservations should be made to
the temple office, (248) 967-4020.

Sisterhood Leaders
Patti Phillips was installed on May
23 as president of the Temple Beth El
Sisterhood. She has served as sister-
hood administrative vice president,
co-chaired Party Planning Showcase
and chaired and co-chaired several
sisterhood donor events. Co-chair of
the Temple Catering Committee, she
also sits on the Library Committee.

Pleasant and Temple Israel in Bay City.
