Family & friends celebrated Mark's soft,
birthday recently at a local restaurant.
The party lasted well into the night
and fun was had by all who attended.
Mark and Rose, his lovely wife of 58
years, were thrilled to have family from
New York City, Chicago and Toronto,
Canada to celebrate with them. The
party was given by their children, Ellen
Hechler and Andi & Mark Weiss.

will be called to the Torah for his second
Bar Mitzvah July 15, 2006 at Chabad
of Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. In
celebration of his 83rd birthday, he will
read the same Torah portion as he did
on July 3, 1936 at the Talmud Torah synagogue at Tuxedo
and Holmer in Detroit, Michigan. Herman is the oldest son
of the late Harry Schwartz and Anna Saltzman, who would
be proud once again. Also sharing this simcha will be his
son, Eric, of Los Angeles, son, Howard, and daughter-in-
law, Robin, as well as their children, Brandon, Michael,
Jacob, Louis and Samantha. Herman is involved as a daily
volunteer, studies Torah with Rabbi Yisroel Schanowitz
and is a devoted husband to his wife, Rona, of 52 years.
