"It really was no big deal," said Shelly, "and I think that was because there wasn't a time that I came into the kitchen that things weren't moving along." A neat work site, cleaned up daily, also eased the updating process. The kitchen and accompanying powder room redo was the couple's first major project in the four bedroom Colonial they moved into 12 years ago. Only two years old when they bought it, the house aged well but recently "we had to make a decision — move or redo."
