MUSIC ALFRESCO: Rock and Soul, with versions of oldies rock
and pop songs, is the July 6 feature at Stars in the Park, the series of
free summer outdoor concerts sponsored by the City of Farmington
Hills. The programs begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Heritage Park,
Farmington Rd. between 10 and 11 Mile Rds. Upcoming perform-
ers include Mark Nilan 8c. Alfie Zappacosta (July 13), Farmington
Community Jazz Band (July 27), Jeremy Kittel Acoustic Trio (Aug.
3) and the Farmington Community Chorus (Aug. 10). Concertgoers
are urged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and picnic dinners. The

Joanne McCallie and John Smith lead a day of golf to benefit For the
Kids Foundation, an organization that helps children who have lost

GARDEN VISITS: Greenery hobbyists can see five new floral
sites by participating in the Gardens of Northville Annual Garden
Walk. Sponsored by the Country Garden Club of Northville, the

homemade sweets and lemonade at the Cady Inn in Mill Race Vil-

VIDEO VIBES: The concert PLAY! A Videogame Symphony will
