The Department of Michigan Jewish War Veterans of the
United States and the Ladies Auxiliary will award 17 college
scholarships as part of the annual state convention activities.
The awards will be presented during a special program
Thursday, June 22, 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center
in Oak Park. Funds for the $750 scholarships are raised
through May poppy sales and private donations.

Divorce Support Group

The National Council of Jewish Women/SPACE for changing fami-
lies is accepting registration for a divorce support group, which

will meet for five weeks, starting Monday, July 10, 7 9 p.m. at the

The group will be led by Geri Spilman, a trained facilitator. The
fee is $5 per session and pre-registration is required. This is not

a drop-in group; attendance at each meeting is necessary.
