DIGEST New Board At NCJW On May 9, the National Council of Jewish Women-Greater Detroit Section installed Sharon Lipton of Waterford as president for the 2006-07 year. The organization's Emerging Leader Award was pre- sented to Abbey Brasch Nathan. Lipton, a life member of NCJW- GDS, first joined the organization's board in 2002. The executive board also includes Pola Friedman, Marlene Goodman, Susan Marwil and Libby Sherbin, vice presidents; Ethel Rosenblatt, Sharon Lipton corresponding secretary; Joyce Sherman, recording secretary; Paula Wolfe, treasurer; and Marsha Zucker, assistant recording secre- tary, honorary board member.
