Washington, D.C.,
has been honored
for his contribu-
tion to medical
science and train-

sciences by the
medical school in
Gedansk, Poland.
His achievements
began in the field of chromatography,
constructing liquid chromatographic
reactors. He is the son of Estell Wainer
of Farmington Hills and the late
Michael Wainer.
Cary J. Kotiler, formerly of
Farmington Hills, graduated from
UCLA School of Law with a juris doc-
tor degree. He has accepted a posi-
tion with the law firm of Vinson and
Elkins in Houston, Texas. Kottler is the
son of Dr. Jeffrey and Ellen Kottler of
Huntington Beach, Calif.
