HIGH HATS: Replicas of a ship, castle and sheep horns
became the legendary designs of Irish milliner Philip
Treacy, whose creations were encouraged and promoted
by his friend and muse, Isabella Blow. Those hats make
up an exhibit, "When Philip Met Isabella," running June
3-Aug. 27 at the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield
Hills. The styles, some created for the Chanel and Gianni
Versace fashion houses, are on view 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
