DIGEST The Jerry Ross Band Skyline & The Back Street Horns Leading Adat Shalom David Schostak of Birmingham will become the new president of Adat Shalom Synagogue at a Shabbat and Shavuot celebration Friday evening, June 2. This year's installation will begin with Kabbalat Shabbat services at 6 p.m., followed by an Israeli- themed dinner. The evening will conclude with special entertainment and the instal- lation ceremo- Schostak ny. The event is chaired by Arlene Tilchin and Larry Slabotsky. Schostak is an attorney and a licensed real estate broker in Michigan. He is also a member of the Detroit Regional Chamber Board of Directors and the Detroit Investment Fund's Investment Committee. Also elected last month were: first vice president Jeffrey Supowit; vice president, Julie Teicher; recording secretary, Lori Issner; treasurer, David Sherbin; Executive Committee mem- bers-at-large, Norma Dorman and Ronald Charfoos. Newly elected members of the Board of Trustees are Barbara Kappy, Gary Shiffman and Larry Slabotsky. At this year's Installation, the officers and board of the Adat Shalom Men's Club and Adat Shalom Memorial Park will also assume office.
