What you should know about Magnet status
before you go to the hospital.

Magnet status is the highest recognition of nursing care a hospital
can attain. It is earned by measuring key indicators of quality care
and patient safety including better nurse-to-patient ratios, low staff
turnover rates and patient satisfaction.

And most important, Magnet is a credit to the dedication of every
nurse on staff.

Of the 6,000 hospitals in America, only 3% have nursing programs
that are outstanding enough to earn the Magnet designation.

And there's only one Magnet hospital in Michigan.
