Williams, the granddaughter of

Priscilla Dickman.
Laura is a
seventh-grader
at East Hills
Williams
Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills.
For her mitzvah project, she was
involved in helping to recruit walkers
and donations for the NCCJ (National
Conference on Community and
Justice) Walk as One Diversity Walk.
Kayla Meira Winer celebrated her
bat mitzvah at Young Israel of Oak
Park on Saturday, May 13, 2006. She

is the daughter of

JPI B'nai Mitzvah

The Jewish Parents Institute will celebrate the b'nai mitzvah of nine stu- •

dents on Saturday, May 20, at the Jewish Community Center in West

Bloomfield. Under the direction of Deborah Motley, the students have each
completed over 32 hours of community service and written a comprehen-

sive paper highlighting a topic of Jewish interest. Saturday's ceremony will

begin at 10 a.m. in Marion and. David Handleman Hall.

The b'nai mitzvah are Casey Dalian, Erin Dlugokinski, Justin Meier,

Stacey Kaplan, Jeremy Kazdan, Gabriel Motley, Austin Nothdurft,
