The Kratchmans are active in the Jewish commu- nity, state political campaigns and the interests of Metro Detroit. Barbara The Kratchmans Kratchman served as execu- tive director of the Michigan Council for the Arts in the Blanchard administration. She is president of ArtServe Michigan. Michael Kratchman, a practicing lawyer for more than 40 years, is a published author on mediation issues and a law school instructor. He is employed by UBS Financial Services Inc. and has served as Kadima's presi- dent since 2004. The evening's speakers are Detroit artist Tyree Guyton and his wife, Jenenne Whitfield.
