Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Janice Katz of West Bloomfield, MI and West Palm
Beach, FL will celebrate 40 years of marriage on May 8th. Janice taught
art in West Bloomfield Schools for over 25 years before retiring two years
ago. She brought color into the lives of students at Ealy, Doherty, Roos-
evelt, Scotch and Green. Ray still practices dentistry at his office in Livonia,
where he's been a pioneering pain-free dentist for the past 38 years. Janice
(Naftaly) Katz is the daughter of Grace Naftaly, 93, of Oak Park. These
days, Janice enjoys shopping and doing artwork for Hadassah and The
Cancer Society. Ray is still working and playing golf every chance he gets.

Their daughter, Susan, son, Steve, daughter-in-law, Jami,
and grandson, Sam, all of Marin County, QaliforT
nia, wish them a very Happy 40th Anniversary.
May you share another 40 years of happiness,
health and love! The friendship, laughter and
commitment that you share is an
inspiration to us all.

to announce the engagement
of their daughter Alison Jeanne
Miller to Aaron Michael Goldstein, son of
Nancy and Steve Goldstein of Ann Arbor.
The couple met during junior year of
•college in Sydney, Australia. Alison gradu-
ated from Michigan State University with
a degree in communications. She is an
advertising sales coordinator for Time, Inc.
in Chicago.

Aaron earned a bachelor of arts in eco-
nomics from the University of Rochester.
He works in Northern Trust's Fixed Income
Division in Chicago. •
They will marry in July and will reside in Chicago.

itchell Kent of West
Bloomfield and Boynton
Beach, Fla., celebrated his
90th birthday on April 18. Helping him
celebrate were his wife of 62 years, Rose;
son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Michael
Kent and Marilyn of West Bloomfield;
daughters and son-in-law, Sheila and Dr.
Steven Hoff of Sarasota, Fla., Corinne Kent
of Farmington'Hills; and grandchildren,
Matthew Kent and Melissa Kent of West
Bloomfield. A family cruise to Alaska is
planned for this summer.

hyllis Kellerman of West
Bloomfield celebrated her 90th
birthday March 12 at a luncheon
given by her son and daughter-in-law,
Douglas and Barbara Kellerman of Beverly
Hills. In attendance were her daughter
Dolores Liebowitz of Howell and grandchil-
dren, Kevin and Janet Kellerman of Troy,
Carin Kellerman and Marc Edelstein of
. West Bloomfield, Susan Kellerman and Oriol
Costa of Barcelona, Spain. Also in atten-
dance were great-grandsons, Dustin and
Dylan Kellerman of Troy. Relatives came
from Chicago, Cheboygan, Georgia and
Florida, including 92-year-old sister Loraine Halstead and brother and sister-
in-law Ray and Naomi Greenwald of Florida. There were also many nieces and
nephews there to extend best wishes.
