Hills, died April 16, 2006. She was a travel
consultant for Berkley Tour and Travel and
an active member of Women's American
ORT.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband

JUDITH BRADY, 77, of West
Bloomfield, died April 22, 2006. An art
teacher at McMichael Junior High School,
Mrs. Brady was a graduate from Wayne
State University and a member of the
Detroit Institute of Arts.
She is survived by her son, Alan Brady
of Santa Cruz, Calif. She was the beloved
mother of the late .Stuart Brady; the
devoted daughter of the late Samuel and
the late Annie Goldman; the loving sister
of the late Ben Goldman and the late Sylvia
Zohott.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

LILLIAN KELTER BROOK, 100, died
April 13. She was an accomplished pianist
who entertained at many senior citizen
facilities for which she received recognition
from the city of Southfield.
Mrs. Brook is survived by her daughter,
Patricia Crosby; son Robert Caplan, both
of Boulder, Colo.; grandchildren, Karen
Minkin (Dr. Richard), David Crosby, Jenny
Turf, Monica Byrn. Andrew Caplan; great-
grandchildren, Jane and Alex Fenkell,
Jeremy and Alax Minkin, Cameron and
Jessica Turf; many other family members.
She was the sister of the late Theodore
Kelter, the late Sidney Kelter and-the late
Barbara Komer.
At her request, her body was donated
to Wayne State Medical School. A private
family memorial was held.

JULIUS A. CHUPACK, 87, of West
Bloomfield, died April 22, -2006.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62
years, Ruth Chupack; loving father of Mark
and Pat Chupack of Waterford, Chuck and
Susan Chupack of Commerce, Ken and
Sharon Chupack of Walled Lake; Barbara
.Chupack of Oak Park; sister, Sylvia Glantz

STEVEN JOSEPH GILBERT, 60, of
Hazel Park, died April 13, 2006. He was a
real estate agent. In the 1970s, he owned
several Tobacco Road stores.
Mr. Gilbert is survived by his sons,

Gilbert and fiancee Stefanie Williams of
Oak Park; sister and brother-in-law, Gail

ARTHUR HOWARD, 93, of Beverly
Hills, died April 17, 2006. He was a founder
and partner of Howard Brothers, which
built North Park Towers, Fox Hills and
numerous hotels throughout the Midwest.
He was also responsible for a great deal
of development in Oak Park, was a past
president of the Standard Club, member
of Franklin Hills Country Club, active with
the Jewish Federation
and was a 1934 grad-
uate of the University
of Michigan and a
1938 graduate of the
University of Detroit
Law School.
Mr. Howard is sur-
