Rasheed Lee, a leading personal
trainer in Metro Detroit, will
take his total body transforma-
tion class, "Body By Rock,"to the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield beginning Wednesday,
May 3, from 6-7 p.m.
The class focuses on cross-
training, strength-enhancing and
stamina-building techniques.
"This method of training is so
great because everyone at every
level can achieve his or her person-
al physical best," Lee said. "It is the
same system used by supermodels,
like Heidi Klum, and by condition-
ing coaches to give pro-athletes
their edge."
Inspired by his role models,
Bruce Lee and Muhammad Ali,
Rasheed Lee was driven to create
his own training philosophy and
regimen, which helped him earn
the world kickboxing title- in 1999.
His commitment and refinement of
his training technique allowed him
to switch athletic careers from pro-
fessional kickboxer to recognized
professional boxer. As a boxer, Lee
adopted the nickname "Rock."
"As psychologists believe every-
one has an inner child, I know that
within everyone, no matter what
shape they are in, lies an inner
athlete, which I strive to unleash:'
Lee said.
A discounted price of $12 per
class or 10 classes for $100 will be
offered to those attending the first
class on May 3. Regular fee is $15
per class or $120 for 10 classes.
Classes continue on Wednesdays
from 6-7 p.m. Call Kristy Levy at
(248) 432-5427 to register.
